Bill Haley and His Comets are best known for their string of hits in the '50s. Some say he was rockin' way before that cat from Memphis. Here's a moovin' instrumental side of Haley and the gang not usually heard on "oldies" radio.
Here's a Duane Eddy influenced instrumental from 1964. Straight out of Detroit, the only info I have found on this one is Jamie Coe (real name= George Colovas) was in the band.
Allentown PA is where The Kings Ransom hailed from. This gem, the first of only two singles, surfaced in 1966. The band has been featured on several compilation LPs. A good sign they had the right sound.
