Rain in the desert.

Just getting some much needed H2O here in the desert. A few large welcomed drops.

Hope it keeps coming to clean up the crap in the air & hopefully revive the desert.

Here's the Coop... I was weened on this LP back in my teen years! Knew about Camelback High way before I moved here.

JAMES BROWN R.I.P.

Woke up early Christmas morning to see my wife off to work :(
and read that the GREAT James Brown had died at age 73. NUTS!!

James was an original. The hardest working man in show biz! Yea, he had issues with the law & life BUT he sure could deliver the goods. Most know on the hits, but the hidden gems, especially from the '50s, git it in often in my house.

Here's a little past Christmas pudding ala JAMES...

Blues Sunday.

Seems like the blues are always king around the house here on Sundays. May be due to the 6:00pm treat of KJZZ (see link in another post). So... I might try to post some blues each Sunday (if time allows).

Here's one of the most famous delta blues cats. Listen as he plays both rhythm & lead at once. No dubs back in the '30s. The Rolling Stones covered this one on their "Let It Bleed" LP.
